It varies. On some stuff ,if the meterage isn't enough to make some decent money on then I will charge an hourly rate.

Generally speaking, anything under 10 sq mtrs is based on time.

I have heard other tilers are laying 600x600 porcelains for $35m including glue is this reasonable as my rate is alot higher. Also anyone used the no lipping crosses/wedges, if so how do they go? are they worth using on 600x300 rectifieds on walls?

For 600x 600 polished porcelain I would charge around $70m2. Then I would add adhesive on top.

anyone charging $35 for 600x600 tiles including glue must be insane. I wouldnt go as far as $70 plus glue but $60 including glue provided floors dont need leveling.

600x300 $60 including glue although that might even be a little too cheap

All those rates sound about right to me.... those who are charging $35/sq.m. for anything over 200 x 200 a most likely cowboys & should be shot on sight!

I lost a 500 x 500 porcelain job just last week. I quoted $60.00/m2 and the builder had a chuckle and told me that he had been quoted $30/m2. Needless to say, I also had a chuckle and as I was leaving the site left him another business card for when he needs someone to fix it.
