Blame walls and Tiles being out of square all way tghrough job, until customer says, "can you do your best?" then after they have apologised for there tiles and bad walls, do the best job possible to wow them.

Also tunes help, and an apprentice to constantly remix glue, I dont have one, but it would be nice to not have to constantly stop top remix glue, today I was doing a front patio and rear patio, outside almost 40 degs heat, HELL, HELL did I mention the aussie sun is Hell? ...didn't need to add any water though, because the sweat dripping off my face into the bucket was enough.

Ah so Tim........thats how you get all your referrals hey?..................i should give that a go sometime.

What keeps me going through a day is 2litres of Ice white coffee..(my own secret blend).......and a 2 L bottle of ice cold water. All i need to eat is maybe a pie from the servo early in the morning and a big dinner when i get home.

Tiling a patio in 40 degree's ouch!!!.....i take it wasnt much breeze 2. Yesterday i had grout Epoxy in around 30 degree heat..............oh boy still got that shit all over my left hand - should wear gloves on both hands next time. Dam i hate Epoxy grouting with a passion...................The Ardex ABAPOXY has gotta be the hardest of all the major brands to install.............ill stick to EPEGROUT from Construction Chemicals next time.

Nah, I just want to get the customers expectations as realistic as possible first and during the job, they end up apologising for there crap walls and cheap tiles, then there is less crap at the end.

Yeah, actually to be honest, I would have preferred grouting today, at least I would have been outa there, just carry in the washboy. Go like the clappers and back in the car,

Nah I was cutting for the risers on a concrete staircase, trying to get an angle to sit flush on this god-awful concrete. had to keep stopping, cutting, glue going off, I was using Conflex, but its a pain to use sometimes.

I had a mate there, all he had to do was keep stirring the damn glue, complaining like a b-tch he was. - then I am going to the glue and finding all these dry bits... Did my head in.

The wind was there all right, HOT desert north wind we get here in Vic from inland, much worse than no wind. Cool breeze would have been nice.

I haven't used this stuff you refer too, Epoxy Grout. I know its a 2-part deal right? So goes off fast and sets in a 'plastic' way? yeah that would be a pain..Is it water based? or completely some form of resin based thing?

I use grout additive, and sealer. But yeah I have heard a lot about Epoxy grout being a pain.
